This event has already taken place, but it can be re-watched below or on Youtube. You can still donate to our fundraiser with the link above if you didn’t get the chance earlier!
Come along anytime during the day to listen, enjoy refreshments and browse stalls – we’re hoping to have books, clothes and plants available alongside a huge range of music from large and small groups. You can also watch online here!
We’ve already got performances lined up from a local Ukrainian Choir, the Avon Chamber Choir, University of Bristol Church Choir, jazz group Mixed Salad, Royal York Singers, Band of Pilgrims and others, so don’t miss what’s going to be a fantastic day of music!
This year, donations from the Music Marathon and stalls will be split between the One Equal Music Project Fund and Aid Box Community.
Aid Box Community (ABC) is a Bristol-based humanitarian organisation set up by group of ordinary people in response to the continuing refugee crisis. Aid Box Community takes a holistic approach to the help and support of refugees and those seeking asylum. The charity provides a free shop, welfare support, activities and group programs as well as a befriending service. A video on the impact and work of ABC can be found here.
One Equal Music is based at St Paul’s Clifton, and aims to widen access to musical opportunities, in order to improve wellbeing, foster community, raise confidence, and encourage talent. This year, we’re fundraising to be able to offer new choral and composition scholarships, start a programme of choral workshops for school-age children, and continue our Singing for the Brain group.
