Monday Lunchtime Concert: Baroque and Beyond

Baroque and Beyond perform a French programme of songs and instrumentals featuring the recorder, cello and baroque guitar. The songs by Pierre de Lagarde, are attractive settings of rural life in the eighteenth century. Two suites for guitar are by Robert de Visée, a court musician to the Sun King, Louis XIV. Everything Steve Walter, group leader, brings us is of a very high standard.
