Choral music is central to the life and mission of St Paul’s, so today it was a great pleasure to welcome Jonathan Mayes, CEO of the Cathedral Music Trust, on his epic cycling pilgrimage!
Jonathan is visiting over 100 choirs across England and Wales across just 50 days of cycling. This mammoth challenge covers a whopping 2,700 miles, climbing over 123,000 feet, raising much-needed funds for cathedral music.
As a member of our choir alumni community, Jonathan sang at St Paul’s when he was a university student and, like so many, has gone on to do great things in the world of cathedral music. Thanks for stopping off at the place where it all began for you, Jonathan. Good luck with the rest of your epic pilgrimage!
