Please pray for me and family at this difficult time. There is too much going on and it threatens to overwhelm us. Ill health, badly behaved teenagers and money problems make life so hard.

build-up to the Musical Marathon
Dear Lord we ask for your blessing on all those involved in our forthcoming Musical Marathon ; for those people at MusicSpace who will benefit from our efforts; for all the musicians who have generously offered to give their time and talent; for all those who organise stewards, refreshments and a million other things; for all the people who will come and enjoy our music. We pray that some who will also sense a closeness to you through that music. Amen

Merton's Prayer
My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following Your will does not mean that I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please You does in fact please You. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire.
