Being Together
St Paul’s doesn’t just happen on Sundays.

Emmaus Groups
Apart from regular Sunday services, there are four discussion groups that meet regularly at different times during the week in member’s homes – topic discussions are determined by individual groups and new members are always welcome.
Student Groups
Student groups include a lunchtime student group exploring faith (usually Wednesday’s and currently connecting via Zoom), a student Extinction Rebellion group, and connections with SCM. We are also host to the University of Bristol’s Church Choir, singing at services during term time – check out their beautiful singing on our Music page.
The Thursday Pause
In response to Covid and the anxieties of these times, this newly started space offers 30 minutes of guided meditation in a beautiful, sacred space followed by the opportunity for chat or further quiet reflection. Thursdays @ 12.30pm, starting October 15th @ St Paul’s. Location will alternate between St Paul’s and Cotham Parish Church.

Connections
The Benefice produces a bimonthly magazine Connections – You can see the latest edition here on Cotham Parish Church’s website.
Children and Young People
Fish Club
Our children and young people enrich the life and worship of St. Paul’s. Fish club is a group for children aged between 5-14 years. It meets on Sunday mornings in term time during the 10.30 service.
Benefice Young People’s Group
There is also a young people’s group which meets on a weekday evening.
Summer Camping Weekend
Every year with Cotham Parish church children and families enjoy a summer camping weekend and firework party in the autumn.
Little Fish
Our under 5s have a special area with rugs, toys, books and friendly helpers to enjoy during the service. Families with young children are most welcome.
