Richard Holroyd – Vicar
‘I have had a varied ministry in cathedral and parish contexts before coming to Bristol as vicar of St Paul’s, Clifton and St Mary with St Saviour, Cotham in 2010. I grew up in West Yorkshire and studied in Liverpool and Oxford, following up my love of music, and doing a little teaching before training for ministry. The vibrancy and challenge of city ministry are keeping me fully engaged, but I enjoy painting, playing the piano, choral singing and being inspired by the lively cultural life of Bristol.’
Ginny Royston – Assistant Curate
‘I’ve been assistant curate at St Paul’s, Clifton and St Mary with St Saviour, Cotham since ordination in June 2012. I was brought up in the Midlands and London but have lived in Bristol for several years and also work as a part time GP in north Bristol. Going back to study again at college and having the space to think and reflect on what faith means was a real treat. I am finding that the mix of medicine and ministry is exciting, sometimes exhausting but never dull!
Apart from work, I love walking, singing and open air swimming -sometimes in the Clifton Lido next door to St Paul’s when I have time.’
