We have a number of groups that meet during the week on a regular basis. They are an important part of the life of St Pauls Church, especially as a significant number of the congregation do not live within the parish and therefore would not necessarily see each during the week.
Emmaus groups exist to support and encourage people on their spiritual journey. They are designed to offer individuals an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in an open and informal way. The frequency and times of these meetings vary and are decided by the members of each group. We have one group that runs during the day time as well as evening groups and they take place in someone’s home. There is a nominated facilitator for each group and although a majority of people also attend St Pauls Church, this is not always the case.
The groups decide their own topics and style of meeting and are open and welcoming to new members.
